Outfit: Sporty Skirt

I’m all about versatility in my wardrobe, which I know I’ve mentioned before.  A good example is this chambray button down tank that I’ve owned for years and has made several appearances on the blog.  This skirt is new this season, but I can already tell there are tons of ways to wear it.  This outfit is a little bit sporty and a little bit sassy.  Black and chambray are perfect together but my favorite part of this outfit is the light booties which really set the look for me.

Outfit: Pink Stripe

I’m going to be honest, I wore this outfit before we photographed it and I wasn’t quite sure about it.  However, after seeing the pics, I’m such a fan and cannot wait to wear it again!  Do you ever have moments like that?  Sometimes taking a quick snap on your phone or a selfie in the mirror is all it takes to really see that an outfit works or doesn’t work.  I don’t typically wear pink but the two small stripes on this top are just enough.  The grays in the rest of the top really balance it out too.

Outfit: Stitched Dress

Dress – Threadsence (more dresses) | Booties – Old Navy | Bag – Liebeskind Berlin

Ah summer, I’m so glad you’re back!  To tell you the truth, I used to be much more of a colder weather girl and of course, I still love my boots, sweaters and layering.  Since moving to the city, I’ve taken a love to all the relaxation and fun that comes with summer.  There are street fairs, outdoor spaces at bars, trips to the park and the beach, outdoor concerts and movies and much more!  This dress is perfect with or without a belt, but I was heading to a Broadway show so I dressed it up a bit.  I’m obsessed with the delicate colored stitching.

Outfit: Ruffles

ruffles2 ruffles4 ruffles Tunic – Anthropologie | Leggings – Legwear Loft | Bag – Liebeskind Berlin | Flats – Madewell

I’m finding myself drawn to more feminine details lately, such as the ruffles on this tunic.  I do love how there is still some edge to the piece, despite the ruffles though.  I’ve been pairing tunics with leggings quite often and I’ve wanted to try faux leather leggings for a while now but just haven’t been able to pull the trigger.  These front faux leather leggings are a great way to try the trend without fully committing.  They are also so much more breathable and comfy.  I think they are even going to work into summer.
